Today, when implementing bathroom design projects, more and more craftsmen admit that HPL Fundermax turns out to be an ideal ally for creating a modern space. All this is due to the fact that working with this material is simple, and the result always exceeds expectations.
This is what happened in this case, when we managed to realize a real extravaganza of beauty and functionality with HPL worktops.
The main idea of this project was a combination of natural shades, which helped to create a small center of untouched nature in the customer's home.
Here, the beautiful HPL Fundermax – 0428 decor, the surface of which is a subtle imitation of natural stones, came in handy. This material allowed us to create comfortable bathroom shelves without using bulky materials. The desired thickness of the shelves was achieved by connecting the parts at a 90° angle. The perfect work of the craftsmen made it possible to make the joints completely invisible.
In addition, the use of HPL boards in a room with high humidity is due to the material's resistance to water and chemicals. Such countertops do not absorb moisture at all, so even constant contact with water will not affect their integrity or appearance. As for surface care, it will be enough to use simple detergents that you have at home.
Another reason for using Fundermax HPL countertops in the bathroom is the material's resistance to mechanical damage. You can be sure that the countertops will not develop scratches or chips over the years of use. In the case of using natural stone blocks, such damage could not be avoided if heavy objects fell on their surface.
In addition, HPL Fundermax is lighter than stone, so given that the shelves in this project are attached to suspended structures, this played an important role in the choice of material.
Also, the process of processing and sawing HPL boards is much simpler than working with natural materials and can be done directly on site.
