One of the features for which customers often choose HPL is the ability to use the material not only for the countertop, but also for the kitchen apron! After all, firstly, it eliminates the need to choose the apron among many other options, and secondly - the aesthetics of the finished result!
In this project the clients chose a marble décor. This calm color with a neat pattern has become a real decoration of the kitchen.
When choosing materials for the kitchen, the main criterion was the quality and reliability of materials, because the kitchen is actively used, and the ability to maintain its excellent condition as long as possible is essential.
The HPL countertops have excellent characteristics that influence the longevity of the surface. Since in this project the material was also used for the apron, one of the most important qualities was resistance to temperature.
HPL is able to withstand long-term exposure to temperatures up to +80° C, which means that its use as a kitchen apron is absolutely justified. However, this does not apply to gas stoves with a turbo burner, because there the temperature impact is much higher, and therefore should use an additional protective screen of tempered glass.
Also for the kitchen apron an important quality was the ease of maintenance. FH surfaces in this case - the ideal option, because they are absolutely smooth and even serious obsolete grease stains are easily cleaned.
Speaking of other features of HPL surfaces, the owners of the kitchen also noted the moisture resistance of the material, which allowed installing a sink with a pedestal mounting. Such a sink looks very aesthetic and modern. The open ends of the material around the sink do not need any edging, because as well as the surface itself, it is resistant to moisture.
The kitchen turned out exactly as the owners expected!
