What was HPL used for: worktop, apron, dining table
The apartment we furnished is located on the river bank, so its windows offer an unusually beautiful view. Probably, so that nothing distracts from contemplation of nature (in the metropolis it is so rare), the designer decided to create an interior in calm gray-brown tones. The kitchen is so skillfully blended into the interior that it really does not attract too much attention, but meets its main purpose - to create a comfortable place for cooking with pleasure!
The kitchen itself is made of MDF - painted RAL 9003 and veneered. Oak veneer is semi-radial, tinted in walnut, has a deep color and is "shaded" with white inserts. As a worktop, 0581 panels are used, which are perfectly complemented by a slightly lighter HPL plastic 0585. This combination has many advantages: spectacular appearance, practicality in cleaning and durability of use. Since our kitchen is also a place of rest and dining area, we have made two spectacular tables: a dining table and a coffee table with HPL table tops to match the kitchen. The dining table is laid out for a huge company, and the small one is just an interior decoration. All this beauty is complemented by decorating the walls with painted MDF.
