Description
3-room apartment in the residential complex "Varshavsky" for a couple with an adult son. This place immediately impressed everyone: the premises of the apartment are almost all the time flooded with sunlight, the uncluttered cozy space around the houses - it seemed that the city seemed to welcome you. "Varshavsky, Hello!" – the name was born immediately.
Next was the task to correct some shortcomings of the planning – to make all the rooms spacious and functional. Since there is too much sun in the apartment, I wanted to catch it. To avoid blurring of geometry and to prevent the interior from floating in the sun, cold dark colors were added. Now the task was to avoid heavy rough details, so as not to eat the space we were fighting for.
Why HPL Fundermax? We are in love with this material.
The idea was to combine all horizontal surfaces of the object that need practicality with one material. This includes the kitchen worktop, the apron with complex niches and shelves, the island, as well as the window sill, the window sill-bar and the sink tops. In addition, the material had to be ultra-thin and add elegance to the interior. The incredible texture of HPL 0080 SX and all its technical capabilities have enchantingly coped with all the tasks. It is worth noting the perfect connection of the material at an angle of 45 degrees both on the apron in the niche and the connection of the thin sidewalls of the island and the worktop. It is perfect. All the ends were also processed at an angle of 45 degrees: window sills, countertops, shelves and even the sides of the island. Thanks to this, the whole interior seems to be one piece.
Working on this project was interesting and brought a lot of pleasure.
