Description
The Origami collection is inspired by the philosophy of original applied art that reveals the beauty of simple things. Dynamism, weightlessness, liveliness and originality typical for origami are embodied in simple forms, thin lines, accentuated elongated cuts, graceful legs and minimalistic ornament of carved handles resembling the flap of crane wings.
Together, these details are designed to create a sense of lightness, harmony and peace in your home. One of the three colors of the collection is black, and they chose HPL laminated veneer for it, because the coating is 100% matt and leaves no fingerprints, and therefore provides a perfect black. Also with their choice of material the authors wanted to show how interesting HPL laminated plywood can look in object furniture design and what possibilities it opens for design and use in interiors.
The collection consists of 15 pieces of furniture: TV tables, bedside tables, console tables, chests of drawers, shoe boxes, dresser-bar.
