Every piece of furniture has its own story—and sometimes those stories don’t turn out quite the way we planned.A spilled glass of wine on the living room table, breakfast crumbs on the kitchen counter, glue residue on the dining table after the kids’ art projects, or water splashes on the bathroom cabinet because the kids had sticky hands...
Home is where life happens, with everything that comes with it: stains, mishaps, fingerprints, dust, and crumbs.

To keep your furniture looking beautiful for years to come, we’ve compiled the best tips for cleaning and caring for Fundermax HPL products.
Care – to keep everything looking like new for longer!
Hot pots on the kitchen counter, water pitchers on the dining table, or a set of keys hastily tossed onto the TV stand—these are small oversights that can have serious consequences if ignored for too long. However, with proper care, your furniture surfaces will stay beautiful for a long time—here’s how to do it:
Daily Care:
Wipe the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth—this will effectively remove light stains!
Important: Avoid exposure to high temperatures and scratches, and monitor humidity levels!
- Always place hot items on trivets or tablecloths
- Use cutting boards or protective mats
- Do not place sharp or heavy objects directly on the surface
- Do not allow water to accumulate at joints or vulnerable areas
- Do not place appliances directly on the vulnerable edges of furniture

Basic cleaning – easily handles everyday situations!
We all know what this is about: fingerprints, water spots, crumbs, dust, and so on—the little traces of everyday life.
With basic cleaning, you can quickly and easily tackle everyday grime and get back to enjoying life’s little pleasures.
A – Basic Cleaning
Common stains: dust, fingerprints, small liquid stains
Cleaning supplies: warm water; mild dish soap if necessary
Tools: a soft sponge or cloth
Tip: Always dry thoroughly to prevent water spots or streaks
B – Light Stains
Common examples: Dried coffee, jam residue, water spots
Product: Regular household cleaner (e.g., glass cleaner)
Tip: Let it sit for a short time, then wipe it off. Repeat the basic cleaning if necessary.
C – Normal stains
Typical examples: Greasy snack stains, candle wax, food residue
Solution: A 1:3 solution of mild soap and water
Tip: Rinse several times, as mild soap can leave a film. Repeat the basic cleaning if necessary.

Deep cleaning – when everyday life leaves more than just traces!
Marker marks on the table after doing homework, glue residue from a sticker in a scrapbook on a new shelf, or wax residue from candles blown out too vigorously on the kitchen table—sometimes stains require a little extra attention! Don’t worry—even the toughest stains, such as glue, marker, resin, or rubber marks, don’t stand a chance on our surfaces.
